Solva village and harbour.

Stunning Solva is definitely worth the drive to visit from Valley View Cottages. Situated on the north side of St Brides bay close to St.Davids its about an hours very scenic drive.

This natural harbour was formed by melt water during the last ice age.It is now a safe place to swim at high tide and explore the rock pools and beach when the tide is out.

The tiny but bustling village has a good selection of places to eat and drink as well as a gift shop, a deli and an art gallery.

There is ample parking and its possible to launch a canoe, kayak or paddle board here. Its an ideal place to practice these sports safely, protected from the wind and surf.

A short walk along a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast path leads to The Cribbin which has fantastic views across St Brides Bay towards Skomer Island.
